After introduction of patrolling PCR(Police Control Room) VAN service by Bolangir police in almost two years ago in Bolangir town (read one of my posting-Jai hoPCR VAN (22March2013)patrolling on motor cycle or Bike Patrolling has started in Bolangir.
A total of 8 patrolling bikes are moving in the town.The main purpose is to reach to the spot/area where four wheeler cannot reach easily ..PCR van service has done a good job in last one year - reaching to the crime incident/accident spot/shifting people to hospital and some other crucial service in crisis time.Let us see how the bike patrolling functions.
